Baby Cohen James Demke was finally born on Wednesday, October 15 at 10:03pm.
He weighed 8lbs 9 ounces. After 9 hours of labor, 3 hours of pushing, and a little help with a vacuum he finally decided to come out, and we are very pleased with the outcome.

Thanks to Mom, Dawn, Becky, Susie, Grandma Kaye, and Amy for being so patient and staying there the whole time. I originally didn't want anyone in there for the delivery, (besides Andy & the doctor) but I'm happy i changed my mind at the last minute. it was nice having an audience there to welcome him. (Audience: Sorry for any gruesome images that may be permanently implanted in your brains).
Special thanks to my wonderful husband Andy who literally stood by my side the entire time (he was too anxious to sit), and didn't complain about his hunger, and didn't faint when he saw blood/cut the cord. He was a real trooper.

I love love love the picture of you and your sandwich. You deserved that thing. You deserved like 4!!!! That was so funny. Oops I told everyone it was four hours. Oh well, everyone who reads my blog will think you are 1 hour more of a hero. If you want I can tell people it was practically five!! How's that? So cute. thanks for letting me be there. It was amazing. You guys are amazing.
YAYYY! Congratulations! He looks so freaking adorable! I can't wait to have one of my own one day! You guys look like the cutest family I have ever seen! Can't wait to meet Cohen!

Ohhh Baby! Jenni I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND THE NEW ARRIVAL!!! I was chattin it up with your Mom this Sunday and she noted how proud she was of you for not needing her help! hahah...that's the best. Enjoy being a new mommy!
